About the Event
We are pleased to let you know that we are in the process of planning a visit to the Norman Lockyer Observatory (NLO) in Sidmouth, Devon. We looking to attend their annual AstroFair which will be held on Saturday 27th June 2026.
The AstroFair is a well attended session in the south west attracting around 400 people each year and involves an opportunity to visit the Observatory itself and also hear a number of talks. The day usually runs from around 9am to 6pm. The cost of entry is around £12 and then additional talks/lectures are likely to be around £4 each.
London to Sidmouth is quite a considerable journey and we anticipate members may wish to travel the day before or stay overnight. Therefore, we are not proposing to organise a group travel option. We will of course outline travel options and identify potential accommodation options. We will also…
