Solar Viewing Planetarium Show and Training Session

During the summer months, we run several public solar viewing sessions at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. These sessions prove to be extremely popular, with many thousands of visitors attending the solar viewing events over the course of the summer.

All of these sessions are run by Flamsteed volunteers, and they wouldn’t take place without the support of our membership. We are always looking for new people to get involved, so we are running this training session to encourage members to get involved in our solar viewing events. As a further incentive to come along on the evening, there will be a special planetarium show, based on the "Starstruck" show, for participants.
