About the Event

Synopsis:

Discover how to transform raw astrophotography data into breath taking images through a complete, practical workflow.

We begin with the data you need to collect, then walk through the full processing pipeline. The core workflow covers One Shot Colour (OSC) cameras — including DSLRs, dedicated astro cameras, and smart scopes such as the ZWO Seestar. We then extend this to monochrome camera workflows with filter wheels and popular narrowband palettes including SHO and HOO.

The talk is illustrated with workflow diagrams, worked examples, and live demonstrations. Software options covered include Siril (free, excellent for beginners) and PixInsight (paid, the tool of choice for advanced imagers).
