Jeff Wagg will describe the status of the ongoing SKA design work and present an overview of some of the questions that the SKA will help to answer.

Jeff is an astronomer at the Square Kilometre Array Organisation in Jodrell Bank, UK. Originally from Canada, he studied astronomy in Victoria, Puebla, Mexico and Boston, USA. He has worked at observatories in Hawaii, New Mexico and in the North of Chile. Outside of the office, he enjoys scuba diving, hiking and surfing.
