About the Event
PROVISIONALLY ON, WEATHER PERMITTING: Blackheath Observing, Saturday 31 October
Update, 31 October, morning: Tonight's session is provisionally on, but the weather is making this a tricky one. The forecasts disagree. Some show clear skies from about 7pm until 9.30pm, while others show high or low cloud over Blackheath for much of the evening. It should be dry and calm, but mist and fog are likely to form from around 10pm.
If it goes ahead, expect a shorter session than usual, roughly 7–9.30pm. Sunday's forecast is worse, so we won't be moving to our backup date.
We're sorry the final decision is later than our usual 9am. We'll confirm by 3pm today whether the session is ON or CANCELLED, so please check back here before you set out.
