About the Event
This evening will be an opportunity to hear about members favourite books, and to see and hear some reviews. There are many Astronomy books on the market and with all the electronic media today it easy to forget there is nothing like a good book and a comfy chair.
I can’t promise a comfy chair, but hopefully there will some good books!
We will have some video contributions from members of the Royal Astronomical Society, and we will see other video reviews as well.
I hope to encourage others to say something short about the books they have enjoyed, including you!
If you have a book you would like to recommend and would be happy to talk about it, for say 2/3 mins I would love to hear from you.
So do please emailand let me know which book you would like to talk about. It needn’t be anything sophisticated or long winded, more just why you like it, and maybe a short overview.
Please do bring books along with you, it would be good to have a number we could all pass around.
I expect this to be an informal evening, where we can talk about our favourite books.
Please do join us, and tell us about the astronomy books you have enjoyed
