THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED ON FOR SATURDAY 2ND MAY. We are running a public solar viewing event at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. All members and non members are welcome. Please note, these events are held inside the Royal Observatory Greenwich, so normal entrance charges apply.

About the Event
Solar Viewing - Saturday 2 May
We are planning to go ahead with solar viewing at the Royal Observatory Greenwich on Saturday 2 May.
The weather forecast currently suggests that the best chance of clear skies will be earlier in the day, with cloud likely to increase by early afternoon. As a result, this may be a shorter session than usual.
If you are planning to come along, we strongly recommend arriving early. We will start observing as soon as the telescopes are ready, but viewing will depend on the weather and may not continue into the afternoon.
Normal admission charges apply to enter the Royal Observatory.
