THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED ON FOR SATURDAY 2 AUGUST We are running a public solar viewing event at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. All members and non members are welcome. Please note, these events are normally held inside the Royal Observatory, so normal entrance charges apply.

Update – Solar Viewing Session Confirmed ON for Saturday 2 August
We’re pleased to confirm that the public solar viewing session at the Royal Observatory Greenwich will go ahead on Saturday 2 August.
The weather forecast remains uncertain, and we may experience interruptions due to cloud cover. However, we’re expecting some clearer periods - or at least high cloud - which should allow for solar viewing. Please note that if conditions worsen, we may need to shorten or curtail the session.
📍 Location: Dolphin Sundial area, Royal Observatory Greenwich
🕥 Time: Setup from 10.30am, public session from 11am to 4pm
