THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED ON FOR FRIDAY 10 JULY. We are running a public solar viewing event at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. All members and non members are welcome. Please note, these events are held inside the Royal Observatory Greenwich, so normal entrance charges apply.

About the Event
Solar Viewing - Friday 10 July confirmed ON
We are going ahead with public solar viewing at the Royal Observatory Greenwich on Friday 10 July.
The session will take place in the Dolphin Sundial area, just inside the main entrance, with observing due to start from around 11am, once the telescopes are ready.
The forecast looks favourable, with conditions expected to become progressively clearer during the session. However, temperatures are expected to rise to around 30°C from early afternoon onwards, so we may finish earlier than usual, likely sometime between 2pm and 3pm.
If you are planning to come along, please bring water, use sun protection, and take care while queuing.
Normal admission charges apply to enter the Royal Observatory.
