About the Event
CONFIRMED ON: Blackheath Observing - Sunday 4 October
Tonight’s Blackheath observing event is confirmed ON, starting at 7.30pm. This is the session rescheduled from Saturday 3 October.
The forecast indicates clear spells, light winds and a very low risk of rain. Some high cloud may pass through, affecting views of fainter objects, but conditions look good enough for us to go ahead.
We’ll have a mix of visual and smart telescopes, with volunteers on hand to explain what you’re seeing. The event is free and everyone is welcome. No equipment or prior knowledge is needed.
Time: 7.30–11pm
Location: North of Talbot Place, Blackheath, London SE3 0TZ
