Blackheath Observing – January Session Cancelled
After further review of the latest forecasts, we’ve taken the decision to cancel this weekend’s Blackheath observing session.
While there may be brief clear spells, the overall outlook remains too unsettled and unpredictable to justify running an event, particularly for volunteers and visitors travelling with equipment. The likelihood of a heavily disrupted, stop-start session is simply too high.
Thank you to everyone for their patience while we tried to give the weather every possible chance.
Our next Blackheath observing session is scheduled for Saturday 14 February, with weather back-up dates of 15, 21 and 22 February. Further details will be posted nearer the time.
