Citizen Science Workshop with Mark Jeffrey

There are many Cosmology and Astronomy projects that are at the leading edge of research that you can get involved in. Mark will outline one project looking at classifying cloud shapes on Mars!

Scientists are looking at how the clouds work on Mars, with a view to predicting (?) the weather. It’s a subject that as we know is difficult to predict here on planet Earth, so attempts to do the same on Mars are being pursued. We will look at a brief history of the project and try out some practical examples. There will be some resources for you to look at to discover other projects in the Citizen Science that you can get involved.
