About the Event
Notice is hereby given of our 21st Annual General Meeting which will be held on Monday 7th September at 7.15pm.
Because of the ongoing coronavirus situation, the AGM will take place via Zoom. Committee chair Andy Sawers will report on the year just gone and our plans for the coming year. Voting on the various motions will be via online polls.
The AGM will be followed immediately by a presentation on what to look for in the night sky in the coming months, presented by past-chairman Malcolm Porter. There will also be a short presentation from RMG Director, Paddy Rodgers.
Nominations are invited from members who would like to put their name forward to serve on the committee.
Nominations should be sent to flamsteed@rmg.co.uk no later than 72 hours before the meeting.
We do hope that you can join us. The AGM is an important part of the Flamsteed‘s Memorandum of Understanding – in effect, our constitutional deed – so your participation is a vital part of ensuring that the Flamsteed functions effectively and properly.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR A LINK TO REGISTER FOR THIS ONLINE EVENT. FURTHER REMINDER EMAILS WILL BE SENT AS THE AGM APPROACHES.
