What’s On Soon  —

Fred Watson visit to the NMM — Special event for members at 5pm on Sunday September 21st.  NMM Lecture Theatre.  The celebrated astronomer Fred Watson will be talking on the subject of “Navigation and the Interplanetary Superhighway”.  Fred is the ‘Patrick Moore of Australia’ — he is Astronomer-in-Charge of the Anglo-Australian Observatory at Siding Spring NSW and presents several highly popular radio and TV astronomy shows downunder.  He is author of “Stargazer — The life and times of the Telescope” and “Why is Uranus upside down?” and has a terrific reputation as a very entertaining and interesting speaker.  Tickets £7 including wine reception, from the NMM Members Office
