Annual Picnic - July 24, 2004 |
|
Mike Dryland’s much hyped treasure hunt was attempted by almost all present. It generated much huffing and chafing, especially when it was discovered that he couldn’t tell his left from his right (or at least, east from west). This somewhat spoiled the impact of clue 14! In any case, Richard managed an impressive 13 correct out of 15 and had first choice of ROG tea-towels. Renate, Nita, Jane, & Linn got their platypus mixed up with their duckbill. ( If you want to try the quiz, click here - Q14 has been corrected! NB Since work started on the South Building, Q1 isn’t valid any longer. Start with Q2)
By four o’clock, Pete was anxious to close the garden and all retired home, tired but happy.
